Beautification Areas (All Courses)
The landscaped beautification areas on holes X,X,X, and X defined by artificial landscape rocks covering the surface is Ground Under Repair from which play is prohibited. If the player's ball lies in the area, or if it interferes with the players stance or the area of the player's intended swing, the player must take relief under
Rule 25-1.
Back of Scorecard - Play from beautification areas on holes X,X, and X defined by rocks is prohibited. Relief must be taken under Rule 25-1 without penalty.
Stones in Bunker (All Courses)
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies)

Roads (All Courses)
All public roadways are deemed to be out of bounds defined by the golf course side edge of the concrete curb. A ball which crosses a public road defined as out of bounds and comes to rest beyond the road is out of bounds, even though it may lie on another part of the course.
Back of Scorecard - All public roadways are deemed to be out of bounds and any ball that crosses a public road is out of bounds.
Power Lines - (North Only)
If a ball strikes the power line during play of the 4th hole, the stroke is canceled and the player must play a ball as nearly as possible at the spot from which the original ball was played in accordance with Rule 20-5 (Making Next Stroke from Where Previous Stroke Made)
Back of Scorecard - A ball striking the power line on hole 4 is cancelled and must be replayed from the original spot without penalty. (Rule 20-5 applies.)
Optional Dropping Zones (Lakes West, Quail Run, North & South)
If a ball is in or it is known or virtually certain that a ball that has not been found is in the water hazard (holes X,X, and X), the player may proceed under Rule 26; or as an additional option, DROP a ball, under penalty of one stroke, in the dropping zone.
Back of Scorecard - If a ball is lost in a water hazard (holes x, x, and X) the player may proceed under Rule 26 or as an additional option, DROP a ball under penalty of one stroke in the dropping zone.
Protection of Young Trees Identified by Tree Stakes ( All Courses)
If such a tree interferes with a player's stance or the area of the player's intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2b (Immovable Obstruction). If the ball lies in a water hazard, the player must lift and drop the ball in accordance with Rule 24-2b(i), except that the nearest point of relief must be in the water hazard and the ball must be dropped in the water hazard or the player may proceed under Rule 26. The ball may be cleaned when lifted under this Local Rule.
Exception: A player may not obtain relief under this Local Rule if (a) interference by anything other than such a tree makes the stroke clearly impracticable or (b) interference by such a tree would occur only through the use of a clearly unreasonable stroke or an unnecessarily abnormal stance, swing or direction of play. PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE: Match Play - Loss of hole; Stroke Play - Two Strokes.
Back of Scorecard - A player may be given relief from a young (staked) tree if it interferes with the player's stance or area of the player's intended swing. The ball must be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with Rule 24-2b(i). The ball may be cleaned when lifted under this Local Rule.
Distance Measuring Devices (All Courses)
For all play at this course, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect the player's play (e.g., gradient, windspeed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.
Back of Scorecard -A device that measures distance only may be used for all play.
